As both search engines and online users are constantly looking for great content, article writing suddenly becomes the most powerful and effective tool to get qualified traffic to your website.
But what happens if you don't have the flair for writing and you don't have the budget to hire ghostwriters? Can you still use this tool in generating traffic for your website and marketing your products and services?
You see, just like any other skill, writing articles can be learned and later on perfected. You don't need to be a professional writer to excel in this field. As long as you have valuable information to share and you can put your ideas into writing, you can make this tool work for you.
In this article, I will share with you the 3 secrets that can help you jumpstart and later on advance with article writing:
1. When writing articles for the web, you must remember that the most important elements of your copies are your titles. You see, when people come across your articles through Yahoo or Google search, the only things that they will see are your titles and your article summary. When online users see your title, they will make a split second decision to read or not to read your copies. And their decision will be based solely on the quality of your headlines. That means, even if you have the greatest articles in the internet, but if your headlines can't simply grab the attention of your readers, your marketing technique is doom to fail. So, learn the ropes of writing effective titles. They must be short, direct to the point, and striking. They must promise great benefits to your readers and they must be keyword-rich. For instance, instead of using "Useful Tips When Writing your Articles", you can use "10 Valuable Secrets in Writing Killer Articles".
2. After writing your title, the next thing that you need to seriously consider is the general flow of the information that you wish to share with your readers. If you want to keep your readers interested, I suggest that you pose a problem (the one that they need help with) and offer solutions on the succeeding paragraphs.
3. Write in a conversational tone. Don't sound like you are an academically-trained writer. If you want to easily build that connection with your readers, you need to make your copies sound like you are directly talking to them.
